Zenon Stępień, photography by Tomek Zerek
Zenon Stępień was born and raised in Warsaw, Poland. During World War II, he was a member of the Home Army and took part in the Warsaw Uprising. In 1968, he came to Hamtramck, Michigan where he still lives today. Throughout the years, he never visited Poland, but in Hamtramck, he is active in Polish organisations and veteran associations.
